About our client

As a leading, family owned earthmoving company our client has been servicing the Geelong and surrounding areas for a number of years. They have developed strong long term relationships with a variety of organisations including councils and government departments, major civil contractors, development companies through to smaller domestic clients. As they begin a busy 2021, we are seeking to appoint an experienced Truck & Dog Driver to commence in a full time permanent position.

About the role

Work will be Monday to Friday mostly around the local area. Overtime is also available. As a highly skilled Truck Driver with experience in moving a variety of equipment and materials you be working on a variety of sites including;

  • Subdivsions
  • Road projects
  • Council grounds (parks, sporting facilities, treatment plants etc)
  • Quarries

We are looking for a skilled driver who wants to join a market leading company for the long term.

Desirable skills, attributes and experiences are;

  • HC truck licence with stable licence history
  • Previous experience in relevant industries and similiar environments 
  • Extensive knowledge of compliance and road laws
  • Good communication skills and are motivated, well organised and punctual
  • Have the ability to work autonomously and manage workloads
  • Display care for the equipment you use including completing daily pre start and maintenance checks
  • The ability to take direction and relay significant information to management
  • A focus towards quality and safety
