About the Opportunity

The purpose of this role is to exercise professional judgement to plan, implement and monitor road and bridge works to achieve project scope, quality, cost, time, safety and environment requirements in accordance with relevant policies and toolkits.

About You

As our ideal candidate, you will be able to demonstrate your ability to;

• Under broad supervision prepare contract/quotation specifications of moderate complexity under broad supervision and administer contracts.
• Exercise professional independent judgement in pre-construction, construction and contract administration of projects, including an understanding of quality management principles.
• Communicate effectively and use negotiation and influencing skills to achieve required outcomes.
• Exercise professional judgement to understand and apply the DoT Risk Management Guidelines.
• Coordinate and monitor the financial and physical progress of projects.
