What you'll need to succeed

• Direct Experience driving 777s or 775s Heavy Rigid Dump Trucks or similar
• HR Truck License
• Moxy Haul Truck experience (HS Ticket)
• Experience working in a Quarry or Mining environment
• Ability to work long hours
• Capable of working variable start time with late finishers (between 8-9pm)
• Must hold a OHS White Card
• Current driver license and reliable transport
• Undertaking and Medical including a drug and alcohol test
• Any other tickets will be looked upon favorably

You will receive an excellent hourly rate, based on experience. Driver/ Tour guide ( weekends)

You must be a people person and understand different personality types. Our tours attract a different crowd every weekend, one weekend it may be wine connoisseurs looking for a special wine tasting experience, other weekends it could be a crowd looking for a great day out. Whatever the group you are the linchpin that holds it all together.

You will be a great fit for this position if you have a friendly, outgoing and hospitable personality and enjoy meeting and greeting people.This part-time position will require you to work 10 hours a weekend (5 hours Saturday & 5 hours Sunday with the possibility of more hours over the summer).

Essential Driver Host Duties and Responsibilities:

• Eagerly welcome taste tour guests with a warm, hospitable smile.

• Check all guests in and verify reservation on the tour.

• Assist and direct guests during the day as their tasting host.

• Work well under pressure when cellar doors are busy and handle multiple guests at a time.

• Complete all customer requests appropriately.

• Must be able to capture moments ( by taking photo's and posting to social media)

• Know the daily calendar of events of the tour, communicate, respond and confirm any special requests and confidently assist and direct guests arriving at different tasting stops during the day.

• Know the policies, procedures of Taste Tours and be able to articulate them to guests in a confidant yet friendly manner.

• Coordinate and communicate information to all Cellar Door staff regarding anything needed to ensure the guest’s satisfaction is exceeded.

• Engage with all guests to ensure they are happy with their tour, thank and invite them to return.

• Handle and resolve any customer discrepancies or issues that may arise in a calm manner.

• No drinking of alcohol at any time will be permitted.

• Promote and sell our tours to potential candidates.

Qualifications:

• Must have open availability and be available to work weekends, holidays and public holidays.
