Skills & Experience

• Minimum of 4-year experience in a similar role
• Strong background predominantly with Caterpillar, Hitachi, Komatsu, Liebherr, Atlas & Bucyrus products.
• OEM experienced preferred.
• Efficient and thorough Diagnosing, Maintaining & Repairing skills.
• Good attitude with strong work ethic.

What does the role look like?

Diagnose, Repair & Maintain all systems on agricultural equipment such as Tractors, Hay tools, and other Ag & Turf implements. This includes, engine, transmission, electrical, hydraulic, air conditioning, guidance & precision ag systems among others.

Repair, Service and/or diagnose agriculture equipment at the customers site as needed

Perform preventative maintenance inspections; including fluid and various filter changes, testing of equipment, & adjustments for infield optimization.

Reconditioning of pre-owned equipment.

Accurately record notes on work orders for customer and warranty records

What are we looking for?

Heavy Equipment Technician or Agriculture Equipment Technician certification an asset

Our established independent supermarket group is looking for an experienced butcher to join our Meat Department Team. This is an opportunity for an experienced butcher who is looking to relocate and who would enjoy working in this coastal Victoria town.

This position is preferably full time but part time would be considered, to work in a fast-paced team environment, in the preparation and production of quality meat products. The successful candidate will be available to be rostered from 7am and needs to be flexible over 7 days of trade. If you are a butcher looking for new opportunity, we are happy to chat.

Main Duties:

Prepares and arranges meat for sale – including cutting/trimming and preparing meats and small goods for display in Supermarket. Advise customers on meat cuts and recommendations of specific meats.

Duties:

• Prepare meat for sale by removing bones/trimming and/or mincing in preparation to display meats or cuts for sale
• Prepare any seasoning, cure methods, pickles or salting of meats
• Operate necessary sausage machines, required to prepare the necessary cuts of meat for sale
• Understand food safety procedures
• Provide outstanding customer service – advise the customer on suitable cuts and use of specific meats
• Manager production of small goods meats for display and sale
• Develop new meat products and manage and implement necessary changes to grow sales of meat products

Qualifications:

• Minimum three (3) years work experience
• Exceptional knife skills
• Understanding of Food Safety Procedures
• Understanding of OH & S issues particular to Meat Department

The successful person will join a company which operates a group of supermarkets in regional Victoria, coastal Victoria, regional New South Wales and Metropolitan Melbourne. They will be supported by a Management Team which covers Finance, Operations, Human Resources, IT and Liquor Operations. Mutual support is also provided by the team of supermarket managers.
